This and That
Oops time has slipped by since my last blog post. October was an extraordinarily busy month. I had surgery on my left base of thumb early in the month and have been pretty much useless since with my hand in a splint. You can really miss having an apposable thumb. The ever patient Mr Wattlebird has been picking up the slack.
I've had a very dear friend and her husband visit from interstate for a week, had a family weekend away with our daughter, son in law and our two grandchildren and my father's 90th birthday celebrations, all in the last five weeks.
Today I'm taking time to just breath and be grateful for wonderful family and friends.
Needless to say I have not been able to knit for five weeks, I'm missing it so much, but it will be worth it because in time knitting will be fairly painless again.
Checking my yarn stock today, I find that I am down to the last few skeins of Alpaca, Merino Silk. My yarn supplier has discontinued this line unfortunately. The remaining skeins are discounted to $28 per skein. There are only one or two left of the remaining colours, you can see the numbers on the product pages in my shop.
There is enough to make a lovely summer top or a light weight shawl. Check out what left of this lovely yarn base and take advantage of the great price.
So enjoy this beautiful spring and happy crafting
